I was present the night of the mass arrest on Esplanade street.
I was an observer and made it clear to police before the arrests started taking place that i was wrongfully accused and wrapped up in the arrest.
However, i also believe that the assembly that was currently taking place was a very legal and very peaceful one at that. I ended up spending a little over 20hours at the detainment centre on Eastern Ave. Prior to the arrests i also witnessed a bribery of 3 individuals who were also wrapped up the mess and shouldnt have been there (or appeared so). I missed a day of work and was treated very poorly. I was not officially charged with anything and none of the courts officers could provide me with any information on what I had done wrong, and how long i would be there. I have the badge numbers of 2 officers specifically who denied me water, my right to my attorney and bathroom facilities on a number of occasions. I would like to join the class action suit if i am eligible. I still have my wristband and vivid memories.
