I was detained at queen and spadina along with a friend we were standing side by side I got taken first and charge with conspiracy of an inditable offence and my friend later was taken and charge with breach of peace. Clearly they were making charges up since we were together doing the same thing yet we had two different/random charges. For some reason I was held for 10-12hrs and he was held for 3hrs. I was strip searched and informed that was being charged with conspiracy of an indiatable offence and should consult a lawyer. Neither of those two happened to my friend which is a good thing but odd that I went through that and he was let go. I was placed in stressful conditions and having work the next morning. I also was told I was a part of the black bloc by police for no apparent reason. This was truly ridiculus. I am also inquiring about how to join a class action suit.
